Raimond Burgman best starter in Osdorp

Raimond Burgman started with two wins and has seeded for the next round.

AMSTERDAM - Raimond Burgman and Tom Beemsterboer have already seeded for the next round of the elite ranking tournament in Osdorp today. They lead after two rounds with four match points in group B of the preliminaries.

Jan Arnouts and Jeffrey Jorissen had a flawless start in group E. These players also have four match points in two games.

Raimond Burgman was the best starter on day one of the tournament. He began with a 50-19 victory against Erik van Hoorn in 25 innings. Burgman made a highest run of eleven in this match. Tom Beesterboer crawled through the eye of a needle in his first match against Ad Koorevaar. He defeated the singer and entertainer with a difference of only one carom: 50-49 in 39 innings.

Burgman beat in his second match Ad Koorevaar 50-19 in 29 innings, Beemsterboer defeated Van Hoorn 50-39.

Jan Arnouts started with a win against Wilco van Wijk (50-45 in 53) and then defeated Jeffrey Nijnatten 50-38 in 42. The other leader in the group, Jeffrey Jorissen, also collected four match points with victories over Van Nijnatten (50-19 in 24) and Wilco van Wijk (50-46).
