KOZOOM - The world of top three cushion is the podium for Kozoom in the upcoming months. The total of live broadcasts at this time is 71 days until 31 December 2014. The start was at the Belgian championship in Blankenberge, the closing event is the Christmas tournament in Zundert.
Times have changed. Many years ago, top players could only be watched in the main tournaments by spectators in the playing rooms. The era of innovations has been accompanied by an incredible technological development. Thanks to Kozoom, anyone can watch and witness now the incredibly high level.
With these sensational innovations, billiard fans don't have to travel to Egypt, New York, Korea, Colombia or Portugal to admire the best of the best. In recent years, Kozoom continuously expanded and improved the supply of live broadcasts. On the peak moments, even three live events are broadcast at the same time. A unique and successful experiment was the European championship last year in Brandenburg, where the matches were broadcast live on 20 live.
We like to give our members a look at the live calendar for the upcoming months. The events are primarily reserved for Premium members only, but Kozoom sometimes offers for free as promotion objects.
The main broadcasting events are:
June 21 to 22: Euro Grand Prix artistic
The Dutch city of Doetinchem is hosting this Euro Grand Prix: the entire European top will be at the performance, two days of the tournament are for free on Kozoom.
21-22 June: Copa Billar Colombiano, three cushion
The Colombian players meet in Ibague for a national tournament, which is played over two days with 64 players in the KO main tournament.
June 27-29: Kozoom Challenge one cushion:
For all billiards fans this is a fantastic event on the calendar. Kozoom presents its first own production with the Challenge between Frédéric Caudron and Jean-Paul de Bruijn in the Belgian Malle. Not only the two big guns make this game so interesting, also the one cushion distance to 1500 points, playing in 10 sessions of 150 points.
June 30-July 6: Pan American championships three cushion:
The prestigious tournament is held in Medellin, Colombia, similar to the European championship, but only in three-cushion. Every day there will be live broadcast on Kozoom.
July 15-20: Verhoeven Open tournament in New York (three cushion)
The Carom Cafe in New York opens its doors for the yearly three-cushion tournament, this time without a separate women's tournament. Defending champion Frédéric Caudron will meet amongst others Torbjörn Blomdahl, Dick Jaspers, Eddy Merckx and Raymond Ceulemans: six days live of world class three cushion.
September 1-6: Cuvino Superprestige three cushion
The city of Lommel, Belgium, is once again hosting the Superprestige with the top sixteen players in Belgium in an attractive atmosphere. Eddy Leppens is both organizer and player, together with Frédéric Caudron.
8-14 September: World Cup in Porto, three cushion
Alipio Jorge, is back after several years with FC Porto in the circuit of World Cups. The tournament promises to be a great event for TV. In addition to the live broadcasts of Kozoom, the Portuguese television announced 15 hours of live coverage. The inscription will be opened for at least 300 participants, that would be a new record.
September 18-21: World Juniors three cushion
The Dutch village of Sluiskil, a billiards stronghold in the Netherlands for many years, is hosting the World championship for juniors, which includes Turkish talent Berkay Karakurt, the reigning European champion Antonio Montes and Frenchman Adrien Tachoire as the major contenders.
6-12 October: World Cup in Guri
The traditional World Cup in Korea, where Dong Koong Kang was crowned as a hero last year. This year's World Cup is the perfect warm up for the World championship.
15 to 19 October: World championship three cushion
The main event of the year for the top players in three cushion. This year, Korea, the land with thousands of three cushion players, is the organizer. Frédéric Caudron defends the world title he took in Antwerp.
10 to 15 November: World Cup three cushion in Medellin
The World Cup circuit travels to Colombia. The first live performance of the new world champion will be held in Medellin, for the second time after 2013. Last year, the spectators whitnessed a thrilling battle between Frédéric Caudron and Torbjörn Blomdahl, won by the Belgian master.
November 21 to 23: Lausanne Billiard Masters, three cushion
The Swiss organization, led by Diane Wild, invites a top field of eight players for the second time in the Lausanne casino. The Italian Marco Zanetti won the tournament last year in the months he was unbeatable. Sung-Won Choi and Dani Sánchez are invited for the first time this year.
7 to 13 December: World Cup final in Hurghada, three cushion
The finale of the series World Cups will be held again in the Egyptian resort of Hurghada. Egypt is the first country this year to organize two World Cups. In the spring, Luxor debuted as an organizer. Both Hurghada and Luxor will be on the calendar for the next three years.
Kozoom will provide live broadcasts for at least 71 days this year.
